Arts & Hearts Are Here For The Children.
With the current pandemic, we appreciate that life isn’t normal for any of us. We’ve seen businesses close overnight, financial uncertainty come to the fore, and a real sense of worry, anxiety and fear and unfortunately, those levels of anxiety, worry and stress can feed into our children too.
With social distancing meaning the kids can’t go and play with their friends they may struggle to understand why. We understand that schools are running on a skeleton staff, which adds to workloads with the stress of adapting to these challenging times.
So, we at Arts & Hearts are here to help. LIVE – Children’s Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation Right To Your Classroom. Modern life was already stressful enough before this, and stress is something children may not understand or know how to handle. So, we want to provide them with effective and appropriate tools to help them manage their emotions and be more relaxed, find peace and calm during these challenging times.
That’s why we’re running our classes live or pre recorded to your classroom via Zoom.
We teach Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation which helps with relaxation, relieves stress, reduces anxiety, aids sleep, improves emotional regulation, increases empathy and improves mood. We focus heavily on meditation to allow children to relax and remove themselves from all external stresses and pressures.
This gives the children an outlet and a mechanism to create a peaceful mind. And both of those lead to enhanced mindfulness, helping to create a positive internal atmosphere.
And we also have our fantastic Online Dance Classes which deliver fun and high energy keeping children fit and engaged whilst having a great time and learning a new skill whilst being in touch with what they love – having fun. So, whether you want the peacefulness of yoga, meditation and mindfulness or you want an energetic dance class filled with fun, we have you covered.
We are trialling a new format that’s aimed towards EHCP and SEN provision based around the new Ofsted 2020 inspection framework. This will consist of bespoke pre recorded lesson content. This negates the Department of Education’s concerns around safeguarding with regards to live stream content and allows for lesson material to be re used among different classes and year groups as required.
Webinars can also be tailored and totally individualised for high need students helping them to engage in the curriculum, providing a unique way to target specific areas of need. SEMH, Communication and Interaction, Physical and Sensory and Cognition and Learning.
Mindfulness and Relaxation
We here at Arts & Hearts care deeply about all children during this time, and that’s why we see it as crucial to help them in any way we can. And it’s why we want to deliver our passion directly into your classroom/hall via our interactive online classes so we can help each and every child grow reaching their full potential.
The children are our future, so we must give them the foundations to build greatness.
